Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 10-room Emergency Department, including two dedicated trauma rooms within a Level 3 Trauma Facility
• Respond promptly and effectively to all emergencies, applying strong critical thinking skills in high-acuity situations
• Participate in initiatives focused on improving patient experience and quality of care in the Emergency Department
• Deliver care in compliance with facility protocols, department standards, and applicable nursing regulations

Required Qualifications

• Current Nebraska Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• MOAB or CPI certification required; MOAB training available onsite if not already held

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification preferred
• Prior experience in an emergency department or trauma care setting
