Clinic ManagerLivWell Community Health Services is a non-profit organization providing comprehensive health and support services, education, and advocacy, as related to HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, and viral hepatitis. Quality health care is provided to persons living with HIV/AIDS or sexually transmitted diseases, support services are provided to HIV clients and their families, and prevention education and testing are provided to all clients, their families, and the community at large. Within the community, we strive to prevent new infections of HIV and STI's and reduce the stigma associated with these various diseases by promoting awareness, acceptance, and equality.The Clinic Manager reports directly to the Clinic Director and is responsible for providing operational and administrative leadership for the medical department at LivWell CHS. The Clinic Manager oversees the day-to-day operations including direct oversight and support of clinical and administrative staff, clinic workflows, technology and EMR systems, billing, credentialing, compliance, grants, and quality improvement initiatives. The Clinic Manager ensures that medical services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. In collaboration with the Clinic Director and executive leadership, the Clinic Manager will support organizational compliance, operational readiness, process improvement, and the continued development and growth of LivWell CHS's medical services.Duties/Responsibilities:Interact with employees regarding issues within the medical departmentMaintain a positive work atmosphere by engaging and communicating with staffOversee medical office planning and suppliesSpeak with vendors about IT issues, electronic HIPAA issues, or upgradesCoordinate and submit required grant reporting and recertifications related to agency medical grants and develop budgets for the use of those fundsAssist in compiling and writing grant proposalsEnsure compliance with quality management and review resources for current informationWork at a practice manager level within the EMR to optimize software customization and builds to optimize efficienciesReview clinic flow and procedures and implement improvements when neededDevelop agendas and lead meetingsAssist in HR processes with the department's recruiting, hiring, training, documentation, and supervisionDevelop, implement, and maintain standardized clinic workflows, policies, procedures, and protocols.Serve as a resource to staff regarding clinic policies, procedures, workflows, and operational concerns.Participate in audits, site visits, compliance reviews, quality assessments, and regulatory inspections.Participate in strategic planning and development of initiatives designed to expand or improve medical services.Oversee medical billingOversee credentialing for office and clinicians as necessaryAny other duties that may evolve within this positionRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years managerial experience requiredExperience in clinical office procedures and basic accounting/procurement principlesWorking knowledge of medical billing, credentialing, and revenue-cycle processesKnowledge of healthcare operations, regulatory requirements, quality management, and compliance standards.Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulationsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeValid Driver's LicensePreferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a Clinic Manager, Medical Office Manager, or similar healthcare leadership roleBachelor's Degree in field healthcare administration, business or related field, preferredLivWell Community Health Services is an equal opportunity employer.
