Production Specialist – (Full-Time, Days) Location: Virginia Beach | Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site | Pay: Starting at $19.00 per hour Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Hours will fluctuate based on production schedules, shipping schedules, and company needs). Work Environment: Comfortable working in hot, humid, dusty conditions. Position Overview The Production Specialist is a key team member in our insect farming and production operations. This role supports daily production activities, insect husbandry, quality control, sanitation, inventory management, and facility operations. You will maintain consistent performance in a fast‑paced production environment, ensuring safety and quality of all insect products. Key Responsibilities Perform daily insect husbandry and production tasks. Handle and work directly with live insects safely and responsibly. Follow established production procedures and quality standards. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process. Operate basic equipment: tape guns, packaging tools, and materials safely and efficiently. Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas. Follow safety and handling procedures at all times. Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and production output. Assist with facility cleanliness and operational readiness. Work with the team to meet daily production goals. Safety‑Focused Workplace Follow all production and workplace safety procedures. Handle materials and equipment responsibly. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
