Job Title Strategic Impact & Engagement Program Student Assistant - Federal Work Study Location UNG - Blue Ridge Campus Regular/Temporary, Full/Part Time, Job ID Temporary, Part‑Time, 298787 Job Summary The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Academic Affairs department on the Blue Ridge campus. The student program assistants will help support a wide variety of programs and activities on the UNG‑Blue Ridge campus. The students will assist with the responsibilities of hosting events on campus such as the Tomato Sandwich Supper, the PEAKS program, Art Club (funded by a grant from Impact 100) tabling sessions, and other SGA events on campus. Responsibilities Help PEAKS participants locate the proper venue for their events, assist with project preparation/clean‑up for Art Club, run errands to the store to purchase supplies, or assist visitors to campus for tabling events. Help with the preparations for large events on campus such as Field Day, the tomato sandwich supper, or bocce tournaments. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Work effectively with all types of people on the Blue Ridge campus: including students, faculty, staff, and guests such as participants in the PEAKS program or Art Club. Deal with a wide variety of situations at work; help with a wide variety of signature events as well as day‑to‑day tasks. Work independently with minimal supervision. Required Qualifications Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
