Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Therapist / Occupational Therapy to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to a largely outpatient pediatric population and support hospital inpatients and long-term care.
- Conduct developmental testing and treatments while employing standardized assessments.
- Utilize skills in functional activities and acute and chronic disorder management.
- Perform therapeutic techniques such as feeding-oral/motor and sensory integrative treatment.
- Maintain accurate billing and documentation per national patient safety goals and core measures.
- Adapt therapy interventions to meet the evolving needs of inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care settings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience with pediatric and inpatient populations preferred.
- BLS certification required; additional skills in outpatient, acute care, LTC/SNF, and pediatrics preferred.
- Ability to use Epic charting system is preferred.
- Valid state license or eligibility with submission of license pending.
- Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.
- Must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year.
