Job Description
Registered Nurse - PACU

Schedule

Night shift; Shifts rotate between closer and opener. 5:00 pm - 5:30 am. Weeknight and weekend on call.

Assignment Details

Patient Ratio: 1:1

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required
• Pre/Post experience required
• Epic experience required
• Level 1 trauma/Outpatient experience preferred
• PACU experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous Charge Experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the PreOperative and PACU settings.
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and condition post-surgery.
• Administer medications and manage patients' pain levels.
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and timely.
