Client Relationship Consultant 2 (Banker) - San Marino, CA (30hrs)

Responsibilities Build relationships with customers, engaging them through in-person appointments, virtual channels, and multiple touchpoints. Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information. Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit and loan products and recommend solutions based on each customer’s goals. Proactively reach out and follow up, asking questions to learn about their financial needs and banking channel preferences. Identify solutions for new and existing clients, effectively engaging and communicating with them. Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital offerings. Provide an optimal client experience, greeting clients and processing basic transactions. Collaborate with branch team members and partners for maximum client service. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. Educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products to meet financial needs. Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize client experience and serve clients with operational excellence and accuracy. Maintain National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration and meet S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z requirements. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Typically three to four years of retail banking experience or a combination of experience and training. Preferred Skills / Experience Ability to build and foster relationships with proactive outreach. Effective client engagement and communication skills. Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems. Proven customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies. Digital‑first mindset to explore and identify customers’ needs. Ability to make appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs. Experience in the financial services industry preferred. Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English (business‑level). Location Expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled workdays.
