Senior Geotechnical Engineering Leader (PE) Dallas-Fort Worth, TX About the Opportunity A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineering Leader (PE) to play a pivotal role in the continued expansion of its Dallas-Fort Worth operations. The successful candidate will serve as both a technical expert and seller-doer , helping to grow client relationships, win new work, mentor engineering staff, and shape the future direction of the geotechnical practice. Key Responsibilities Lead geotechnical projects from pursuit through delivery Develop and maintain strong client relationships across the DFW market Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities Provide technical oversight and review of geotechnical engineering work Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff Manage a team of direct reports while supporting wider engineering and laboratory personnel Collaborate closely with office and CMT leadership to support strategic growth initiatives Support operational planning and help guide future office expansion efforts Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) license required Approximately 10-15+ years of geotechnical engineering experience Strong understanding of the Dallas-Fort Worth geotechnical and construction market Proven track record of business development and client relationship management Experience winning and delivering geotechnical projects Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills Seller-doer mindset with a desire to contribute to long-term business growth Projects You'll Be Involved In The team supports a diverse range of projects, including: Data Centers Levee and Flood Protection Infrastructure Multifamily Developments Industrial Facilities Commercial Developments With significant growth occurring within the data center sector, this role offers exposure to some of the region's most exciting and high-profile projects.
