Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule: MondayFriday (block schedule); no scheduled weekends; weekend call optional; holidays call required (must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays).

Assignment Details: Typical patient population includes adults and geriatrics; low volume, low acuity. May be required to work independently.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required.
• Required certifications: NMTCB or CNMT, BLS.
• California license must be in-hand.
• Key clinical skills include routine nuclear medicine procedures, cardiac imaging, and the safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Experience with GE Xeleris is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine nuclear medicine procedures such as bone, renal, and liver scans.
• Conduct cardiac imaging utilizing exercise and pharmacologic stress techniques.
• Manage IV placements and ensure safe disposal of radioactive materials.
• Float to outpatient center as required.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and institutional standards.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation is 16 hours; completion of modules (~16 hours pre-start) is required. Must disclose any background or license issues upfront.
