Quality Technician

Job Description: TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening in its Wellford, SC office for a Quality Technician who will perform basic quality techniques to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. Primary Responsibilities Responsible for returns analysis, continual improvement activities, supplier interface and customer complaint handling Inspect and analyze components and products for conformance to specifications Develop inspection instructions Perform system audits to ensure procedures are being followed Gather data to help support continual improvement activity Perform other duties as assigned Requirements 2-year degree with HS diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience Must be knowledgeable of inspection and analysis techniques. Familiar with a QMS such as ISO 9000:2000. Prefer a person with a certification such as the CQT Physical Demands Standing for extended periods of time Repetitive motion Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs – team lifts over 50 lbs Able to work in various temperature conditions Note: The physical and weight‑lifting demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
