SQL DBA - Remote in Guatemala

Immediate Hiring Role
SQL DBA Location: 100% Remote in Guatemala (Candidate must be located in Guatemala only) Good English Communication Skills are Required. Minimum Requirements:
- 8+ years of SQL Server database administration and design.
- Extensive T-SQL tuning experience.
- Solid knowledge of Windows scripting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Additional Desired Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience working with multiple versions of SQL server: individually, in parallel, and using cross-server connectivity
- Experience creating, configuring, monitoring, managing, and remediating SQL Server in on-prem VM and physical scenarios.
- Experience creating, configuring, monitoring, managing, and remediating SQL Server on Azure VMs
- Experience setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting MSDTC
- Experience with SQL encryption processes and procedures
- Experience Installing, configuring, monitoring, and managing SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups
- Experience with migrating SQL server data from on-prem to an Azure environment
- Experience performing data migrations from older SQL versions to newer versions on separate systems.
- Basic SQL server and connectivity troubleshooting skills
