TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Spokane, Washington, 99204!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid compact nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Client RN experience, comfortable with the NIH scale and proficient at caring for post-surgical neurology patients and various neurology diagnoses Description: This position requires a telemetry registered nurse with neurology experience. The nurse will float between units as necessary. Weekends will be required every other weekend. The expected patient ratios are 1:4. The nurse must have managed BiPAP/CPAP and understood telemetry care. Experience in caring for patients post-craniotomy, those with CVA, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries is essential. Management of dysrhythmias and interpretation of dysrhythmias is required. The unit is designated as a stroke unit and is thrombectomy capable. Candidates must have experience with Epic charting. The role may involve caring for patients in varying neurological diagnoses. All required skills should be demonstrated through prior experience. The nurse should be prepared to work in a dynamic and interdisciplinary team environment. It is critical that candidates be willing to float between sister facilities if needed. Candidates must submit two references covering the last three years. Flexibility in schedule and commitment to working during holidays is required.
