Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical systems and a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

* Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics
* Ensure all work complies with NEC, local, and state electrical codes
* Perform inspections and testing to identify issues and verify proper operation
* Install wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, switches, outlets, and fixtures
* Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
* Accurately document work performed and materials used

Qualifications

* Valid Journeyman Electrician license
* Minimum 5 years of professional electrical experience
* Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely
* Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
* Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

* Experience with commercial or industrial projects
* Ability to lead apprentices or small crews

Pay: $35.00 - $44.00 per hour
