Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 31 Weeks
Shift: Day | Monday–Thursday
Schedule: 4 Days/Week | 40 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $24–$26/hr

Job Description:
Medical Assistant will support front-office and back-office clinical operations in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include patient rooming, vital signs, phlebotomy, venipuncture, EKGs, POC testing, scheduling, EMR documentation, and patient support.
Responsibilities:
Greet and room patients.
Take and document vital signs.
Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture.
Perform EKGs and POC testing.
Administer vaccines within scope of practice.
Schedule appointments and assist with clinic coordination.
Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries.
Support health education and outreach.
Follow patient safety and infection-control procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience , excluding externship.
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
Phlebotomy/Venipuncture experience required.
EMR experience required.
Front-office and back-office experience.
Strong computer and communication skills.
BLS or CPR required.
Experience with EKG, POC testing, scheduling, patient rooming, and vitals.
