We proudly serve both pediatric and adult patients and are committed to delivering a positive and memorable experience for all ages./ppWe are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dental Billing Assistant to support insurance billing and collections across our six dental practices. This role is essential to ensuring accurate claims processing, timely reimbursements, and a strong revenue cycle./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3pInsurance Billing Claims/pulliSubmit accurate dental insurance claims (electronic and paper), including GA Medicaid, CMO, and PPO./liliVerify insurance coverage and benefits prior to patient appointments./liliFollow up on unpaid claims, denials, and resubmissions./liliPost insurance payments and adjustments accurately./li/ulpPatient Billing/pulliCoordinate billing procedures with front desk and treatment coordinators./liliGenerate and send patient statements./liliCommunicate with patients regarding insurance coverage and account balances./li/ulpRevenue Cycle Management/pulliMonitor A/R reports and follow up on outstanding insurance and patient balances./liliStay current on dental insurance regulations and coding practices (e.g., CDT codes)./liliAnalyze trends in claim denials and implement corrective actions./li/ulpTeam Collaboration/pulliTrain front desk staff and supervise billing team members./liliCollaborate with front office and clinical staff to ensure smooth billing workflows./liliMaintain open communication across departments regarding insurance updates and billing protocols./li/ulpCompliance Documentation/pulliEnsure compliance with HIPAA and insurance billing regulations./liliMaintain accurate and organized records for audits and reporting./liliStay informed on changes in dental insurance policies and industry best practices./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliExperience: Dental insurance billing required; GA Medicaid/liliKnowledge: Proficiency in dental billing software (Planet DDS Denticon experience is a plus)./liliSkills:/liulliStrong understanding of dental coding (CDT codes) and insurance processes./liliExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities./liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills./liliAbility to work independently and manage a team effectively./li/ul/ulh3Benefits/h3ulliOpportunities for growth/liliFamily-oriented environment with weekends off/liliHealth, dental, and vision insurance (Full-time only)/liliPaid time off and holidays (Full-time only)/li/ulh3Schedule/h3ulliPosition Type: Full-time/liliLocation: Onsite at Alpharetta office/liliHours: Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. - 5p.m./li/ulpPay: Based on qualifications and experience./p/div
