We're looking for a bright, and motivated Senior Project Manager – Property Condition Assessments to join our Building Science & Resiliency team in the Midwest (Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, or St. Louis).

The ideal candidate has at least 6 plus years of experience in the engineering and consulting industry. A day in the life of Senior Project Manager includes:

• Leading in keeping the team members and all stakeholders safe.
• Leading project teams in the execution of technical project work, performing senior review, and client management duties where appropriate.
• Assisting the Manager in developing and implementing regional strategies aligned with the Company's goals.
• Overseeing project budgets and keeping staff on task.
• Working to foster strong relationships with existing Clients and developing new Clients.
• Gathering opportunities for work and then preparing/reviewing proposals for potential work.
• Assisting the Manager to help drive a culture of effective people management and career development with a focus on growth and preparing successors for key roles.
• Engaging in professional organizations, attending conferences when necessary, and/or contributing to technical committees in line with their field of work.
• Leading by example in the office and in the field in accordance with Pinchin's Core Values and desired culture.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the Pinchin team:

• 6 plus years' experience in the construction/building industry.
• Registered Architect or Professional Engineer, or ability to obtain license within 12 months of hiring, preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering (architectural engineering, civil engineering, construction management, etc.) or architecture field, preferred.
• IIBEC, LEED, CSI, PMI, or other industry credentials are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and an adequate motor vehicle report.
• Technical understanding of the due-diligence inspection process including an in-depth knowledge of performing Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) per ASTM E2018.
• Working knowledge of building enclosure systems (waterproofing, roofing, facades, glazing, fenestrations, air/vapor barriers, etc.) and general construction.
• Working knowledge of other third-party consultant reports typically performed during due diligence/real estate transactions such as environmental site assessments, zoning letters, surveys, seismic risk assessments, and property resilience assessments.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to travel 25% of time outside of immediate region.
• Experienced with typical Microsoft Office Suite to support and run a business.
• Ability to visit projects/job sites and work outside during all seasons. This may include working from ladders, boom-lifts, scaffolds, and rooftops.
• Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, and the ability to pass a company physical.
