Fidessa DeveloperThis role is for an experienced Fidessa developer in the Equities Cash Technology organization. The group supports institutional and retail equities trading desks and is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting multiple production trading applications built on the Fidessa trading platform. A successful candidate must have prior hands-on Fidessa implementation experience, in-depth knowledge of the Fidessa architecture, frameworks, and products, and proven track record performing product upgrades with complex onsite customizations. Hands-on FTW implementation experience is a strong plus.Role Responsibilities:Support multiple Fidessa trading systemsIntegrate Fidessa systems into the Bank's technology stackUpgrade product components on a regular basis to keep up with the latest updatesWork with Client/PM and other developers to satisfy business and regulatory requirementsOnboard the systems to DevOps CI/CD toolsRequired Skills:3+ years of Fidessa server-side development experienceFidessa Product Suite: CASE, FBL, TOP (OMAR, TMAR, PMAC), PAIRS, NMS, FIX+, APAS, FDAFIX protocolPlatforms: Windows 10/11, LinuxEquities / Global Markets / Order Management and Post-TradeScripting: TCL, Python, Unix shell scripting, PowerShellDatabases: Sybase, MS SQL ServerDistributed system design, messaging, event processingMessaging frameworks: AMPS, IBM MQ, Tibco EMSAutomated testing frameworksAgile SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD pipelinesAI toolingDesired Skills:3+ years of core Java development experienceHands-on FDA and Sybase experienceFTW development a strong plusEducation:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline
