Location: Columbia, MO

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

What You'll Do

• Collect high-quality blood specimens from patients using established venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
• Verify patient demographics and ensure accurate specimen labeling, including obtaining patient acknowledgment of labeled specimens
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain required records, documentation, and confidentiality of patient information
• Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering trust and confidence with patients
• Support multiple patient service locations as needed and maintain a safe, professional work environment

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Strong phlebotomy and specimen processing skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Keyboard and data entry experience
• Experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations as needed
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, on-call schedules, and varying locations based on business needs
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
