Job Title: Forward Deployed Engineer
Location: Brentwood, TN (onsite)

Salary Range: $125,000 - $130,000 per year


Role Summary
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and customers to design, develop, deploy, and support innovative AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong full-stack development expertise with a backend-heavy focus and have hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, AI platforms, and modern software development practices.
This role requires an individual who can independently manage the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture design to development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
8+ years of software engineering and application development experience.
Strong full-stack development expertise with a backend-focused architecture approach.
Hands-on experience with:
Java
Python
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience building and deploying applications using:
Vertex AI
Agentic AI frameworks and solutions
Strong understanding of cloud-native application development and microservices architecture.
Experience with RESTful APIs, backend integrations, and distributed systems.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with mobile application frameworks such as Capacitor is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
