Full Stack Engineer React/.NET

Senior Software Engineer We are actively seeking a proactive, creative Senior Software Engineer to architect and implement Guardian’s next‑generation web self‑service platform APIs using .NET Core and C#. Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy high‑volume self‑service web portals and APIs using .NET Core, C#, React, Next.js, and responsive CSS. Collaborate with technical teams, managers, and subject‑matter experts to understand, plan, and implement solutions. Ensure compliance with security, privacy, legal, infrastructure, and corporate policies. Lead code reviews and administer paired programming. Provide strategic insight into cross‑functional customer business requirements. Translate business and technical requirements into well‑engineered, tested, and deployed applications. Qualifications 5+ years of experience developing APIs with C#, .NET Core, and building modern web applications with React and Next.js. Strong expertise in .NET and C# backend services with async programming and memory management. Proficiency in front‑end development with React, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and responsive CSS (Flexbox, Grid, media queries). Experience with object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and responsive cross‑browser user interfaces. 5+ years working with Web API (.NET Core), REST services, WCF, or SOAP services. 4+ years of experience maintaining front‑end applications using React and/or Next.js. Experience with database principles, SQL, logging (Splunk), performance analysis, caching, and security flaw resolution. Experience with front‑end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) is a plus. Experience with source code repositories (BitBucket, GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines, AWS, ECS, Docker, and Kubernetes. Strong knowledge of release, build, and configuration management practices. Hands‑on architecture design and development for large‑scale API and front‑end platforms. Demonstrable understanding of OOP, functional programming, SOA, and modern front‑end frameworks. Ability to prioritize and manage work to meet aggressive project timelines. Extensive experience in Software Development Life Cycle management using Kanban, Scrum, or Scaled Agile. Passion for building seamless user experiences and collaborating across the stack. Location Three days a week at a Guardian office in Holmdel, NJ; Bethlehem, PA; or NewYork, NY. Compensation Salary range: $95,170.00 – $156,355.00 (based on education, experience, and qualifications).
