Salary Range: $120,640.00 To $196,040.00 Annually

Compensation range for the role is listed above. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. What you'll do: In this floating role, you'll provide full-scope optometrist care and help patients see their best each day across multiple Sacramento-area practice locations. Depending on the location, you may perform comprehensive eye exams, assess and manage ocular conditions and diseases, use digital retinal imaging and other advanced diagnostic tools, and partner with the care team to deliver a seamless patient experience. This is a full-time opportunity with a Monday-Friday schedule, eight hours per day, and caring for 16-18 patients per day.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions
