Whether youre advancing your career or growing your skillset, we are here to drive you forward.Role ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough cosmetic inspections to identify detailing needs and ensure vehicles meet CarMax quality standardsRepair and replace small components, ensuring functionality and visual appealExecute paint retouching, post-paint finishing, waxing, and buffing to CarMax quality standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following CarMax protocolsCollaborate with team members to meet production goals and deliver exceptional customer satisfactionFollow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.Required QualificationsStrong manual dexterity and physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periodsExceptional attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfactionValid drivers license and ability to operate vehicles safelyPreferred QualificationsHands-on experience in automotive detailing tasks such as washing, waxing, buffing, masking, sanding, and minor paint applicationsFamiliarity with replacing small parts and performing minor cosmetic repairsAbout CarMaxAt CarMax, we revolutionized the used car buying experience over 30 years ago by introducing transparency and integrity into the process. For 8 hours of pay for each of a total of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday. If such an Associate does work on a scheduled holiday due to business need, they are eligible for Holiday Premium Pay.
