About the Position

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM, 36 hours per week, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Work in a 36-bed pediatric emergency department with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Treat a diverse case mix including sickle cell crisis, asthma, behavioral health, DKA, gastroenteritis, and pediatric fever management
• Gain experience with insulin and sedation drips, resuscitation medications, and advanced ventilator support using Hamilton T1
• EPIC electronic medical record system utilized facility-wide
• Opportunity to float to other campuses as needed for expanded clinical exposure

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact State RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Pediatric Emergency Department experience highly preferred
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC certification strongly preferred
• Proficient IV skills required
• EPIC experience required
• Flu vaccination required with no exceptions
• Must pass nicotine screening as part of pre-employment drug testing
