Community Pantry Receptionist - LIFT

Position Overview Lift Community Pantry is seeking a Receptionist volunteer for their Brooklyn office. The role requires approximately 20 hours per week. Responsibilities include answering phones, taking messages, filing, data entry on the Plentiful pantry app, signing in pantry clients, gathering pertinent client data for the database, creating ID for pantry clients, and call center duties for requisitions and events. College students are welcome to apply to gain college credit. Times needed are Monday‑Friday, 10 am‑2 pm. Volunteer Availability Volunteers needed through 12/31/2026. Population Served Animals Families Homeless Immigrants Refugees or ethnic groups LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) Low‑income communities Military/Veterans Offenders/Ex‑offenders People with disabilities People with health‑based concerns Visitors & Travelers Youth Requirements Age Minimum: 18+ Next Steps After expressing interest, the Opportunity Leader will contact you to confirm participation and provide directions for this opportunity.
