Job Title Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor – Family Science & Social Work Department Appointment Appointment begins August 17, 2026, with possibility of renewal for up to five years contingent on performance and funding. Positions Available Two positions available. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in social work within the Department of Family Science and Social Work. Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. or terminal degree in Family Science or Social Work, or closely related field by the date of appointment and a minimum of two years of post-master’s practice experience for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor. Master's (or ABD) in Social Work or closely related field by date of appointment and a minimum of two years of post-master’s practice experience for appointment as Instructor. Consideration may be given to candidates with applied professional experience, including but not limited to a minimum of five years post-master’s practice experience; those holding licensure (e.g., LSW, LISW, LISW‑S) in social work; and those with experience teaching hybrid or fully online as well as face‑to‑face courses.
