Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a contract opportunity. An opportunity to provide hands-on technical support for desktop and laptop systems. This role focuses on troubleshooting, device setup, deployment, and maintaining reliable computer operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops and laptops
• Install, configure, and deploy new devices and replace outdated equipment
• Image and set up devices for end users
• Provide customer-focused support during device setup and issue resolution
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper handling and disposal of equipment
• Track, update, and close service requests in a ticketing system
• Collaborate with team members to support projects and resolve technical issues
• Follow established procedures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Experience in desktop support, troubleshooting, or a related technical role
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience with device imaging and setup
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

The base range for this contract position is $20.00 -$25.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
