As a Cardiovascular Surgical Services RN , youll provide top-tier, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing advanced cardiac and vascular procedures. You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering individualized care, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.

• Conduct age-specific patient assessments upon admission and throughout the care process to guide individualized treatment plans.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team and patient families to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans.

• Continuously assess, plan, and evaluate patient care to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients of all ages.

• Administer treatments and medications accurately and document all care using EPIC , the hospitals electronic medical record system.

• Apply strong critical thinking and delegation skills to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care.

• Maintain a collaborative and supportive work environment focused on quality and safety.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing (eligible to sit for VA licensure exam).

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in Virginia or eligibility to obtain.

• CPR certification required ; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as needed.

• Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems.

• Completion of all orientation, competency, and essential job requirements.

• Competitive Pay Range: $30.47 $45.71/hour (based on experience)

• Shift Details: Primarily 6:30am 7:00pm (Day/Evening rotation)
