- Performing thorough assessments of patients, ordering necessary diagnostics, and developing personalized treatment plans
- Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic conditions independently or in collaboration with physician partners
- Providing education to patients and families about wellness, prevention, and management of diseases
- Prescribing medications and therapies within legal and ethical guidelines
- Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management initiatives
- Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
- Meticulously documenting patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is preferred
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is required
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or its equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain these within a specified period)
- A strong foundation in clinical skills paired with a heartfelt approach to patient care
