Housekeeping Aide
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Momence Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Kankakee, Illinois. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces. Responsibilities:
• Perform daily cleaning and disinfection tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors, and cleaning bathrooms and bedrooms
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, and public spaces
• Restock linens, toiletries, and towels as needed
• Assist with laundry and ironing duties
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the Facilities Manager
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
