General Laborer

Job Summary:The General Laborer is responsible for ensuring the feed mill maintains adequate product levels to meet both internal and external customer demands. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with all safety, OSHA, and operational regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety and efficiency while performing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Load and unload feed products for customers in a timely and efficient manner.Maintain strict adherence to safety compliance and OSHA regulations.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and disposing of waste materials.Sack and prepare feed for warehouse storage and delivery.Operate machinery and equipment such as baggers, forklifts, two-wheel dollies, freight lifts, and man lifts.Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service.Support elevator operations as needed.Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth mill operations.Key Competencies:Strong verbal and written communication skills.Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skills.Strong customer service orientation.Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and customers.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members. Must be able to speak and understand English to effectively communicate and perform job duties.Commitment to upholding high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.Preferred Qualifications:Valid Kansas Driver’s License.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Comfortable working at heights and using equipment such as ladders or man lifts.Ability to twist, turn, push, pull, and bend frequently.Comfortable working in confined spaces.Willing to work in various environmental conditions (dust, heat, cold).Availability to work from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr DODGE CITY CO OP EXCHANGE
