Overview Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Gastroenterologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Responsibilities Diagnose and manage a wide range of GI conditions, ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests, and prescribing necessary treatments. Perform GI procedures, including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and other advanced endoscopic interventions. Provide patient counseling on disease management, nutrition, and follow-up care, and coordinate referrals to specialists or dietitians as appropriate. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Supervise and teach fellows, residents, and support staff. Participate in research and quality-improvement activities. Qualifications Completion of Fellowship Training Program in Gastroenterology Expertise in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures Board Certification/Eligibility in Gastroenterology Proficiency in X-rays, MRIs, and ultrasound scanning Current licensed NY State registration (or the ability to obtain one) Wages and Benefits Annual Base Salary: $400,000 based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation may be available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $531,520, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below: Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week: $55,520 Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
