KidStrong Camp Coach

Overview KidStrong is a kids training program that builds strong, confident, and high‑character children. KidStrong Atascocita is rapidly growing and we are looking for a seasonal camp coach with an athletic or coaching background and experience working with children aged 4–11. Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $12 – $15 per hour Be part of a fun, energetic and professional team that loves what they do. Coaching and mentoring children to make a lasting impact. Flexible part‑time or full‑time schedule. Responsibilities Coach children through daily programming designed to support brain, physical, and character development. Work with camp groups of 20–30 children, ages 4–11. Teach the KidStrong Camp curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team. Ensure camp starts and ends on schedule and follows the daily camp schedule. Greet and check‑in children upon arrival, keeping accurate attendance records. Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading activities. Demonstrate and enforce various exercises, lifting up to 25 pounds as needed. Ensure cleanliness of the center (lobby, bathrooms, floors) and perform end‑of‑shift sanitizing. Communicate professionally with coworkers via Slack and other messaging systems. Complete required training and obtain the In‑Center Camp Rollout, Camp Coach Exam, and sign‑off by Center Leadership. Ensure proper technique and safety for all children while directly coaching. Attend mandatory staff meetings as required by KidStrong General Manager. Provide supervision, safety, and program implementation for campers. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications Passion for working with children. Prior experience coaching children in the KidStrong age range. Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics. CPR/First Aid certified. Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills. Self‑starter who gets the job done. Benefits Work with great people.
