Senior Tax Accountant

Job Description Senior Tax Accountant We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join a growing accounting team in Neptune, New Jersey. Responsibilities Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, trust, and nonprofit tax returns Review financial statements and supporting documentation for accuracy Conduct tax research and assist with tax-planning strategies Identify tax-saving opportunities and communicate recommendations to clients Respond to IRS and state tax notices Manage multiple client assignments and deadlines during tax season Communicate professionally with clients regarding tax questions and missing information Provide guidance and support to junior accountants and administrative team members Maintain accurate client records and workpapers Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 3-5 years of recent public accounting tax experience Strong experience preparing individual and business tax returns CPA or EA designation preferred; CPA candidates will also be considered Experience with UltraTax CS is strongly preferred Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Strong tax research, analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines High level of professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail What We Offer Paid time off and paid holidays Professional and supportive work environment Opportunities for advancement and continued professional development Year-round position with overtime opportunities during tax season Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person - Neptune, New Jersey #J-18808-Ljbffr
