Front Desk Agent

Rosen Hotels & Resorts

Description The Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests, providing exceptional customer service, and handling guest accounts at the end of their stay. They must be detail-oriented, possess effective conflict-management skills, and excel in decision-making. Responsibilities Welcome and register guests with a friendly demeanor. Provide information about hotel amenities and services. Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Manage check-ins, check-outs, billing procedures, and same day reservations. Maintain accurate guest records and payment transactions. Issue room keys and room location directions. Answer the phone in compliance with company standard. Be knowledgeable of the property and surrounding area to make entertainment and dining suggestions to guests. Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policies. All other duties as assigned. Experience/Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle and resolve guest complaints or concerns professionally. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using hotel management systems or reservation software is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. infrequently. Must be able to legally work in the USA. Education and Certification(s)/License(s) High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
