Job Description
Provide direct patient care and perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
Identify patients and properly label, handle, and process specimens.
Prepare and send laboratory specimens to outside/reference laboratories.
Perform waived laboratory testing according to established procedures.
Monitor and maintain laboratory supplies and inventory.
Order, receive, organize, and restock unit supplies.
Follow laboratory safety, infection-control, and quality-assurance procedures.
