Commercial Banking Business development role

Manage a portfolio of Commercial Banking relationships

Generate loan and deposit balance growth through opportunities with existing customers, prospective customers and referral generation from COI network

Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field.

Ten or more years of experience as a Commercial Banker

The ability to develop and manage a portfolio of up to $100MM

Knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures.

Knowledge of lending services and related areas.

Good managerial, communication and business development skills.

Analyze the credit history of applicants and determines their loan repayment capabilities.

Negotiate credit terms, such as costs, loan repayment methods and collateral specifications.

Develop and maintain interest rate structure to be consistent with financial institution policies and procedures, and to be competitive with current market rates.

Evaluate potential and existing customer loan requests and makes loan recommendations to leadership.

Review new laws and regulations that influence business lending within Partners Bank and makes recommendations to leadership as necessary.

Consistently generate new business opportunities in both loan and deposits.

Make policy and procedure recommendations as needed.

Consistent and regular Community involvement to promote bank brand, products and services, etc. i.e.: Rotary, Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, etc.
