Lead Bartender – The Walk In

We’re a craft cocktail bar focused on great drinks, strong hospitality, and a team that knows how to move. We’re looking for someone who is confident behind the bar, comfortable taking the lead, and ready to take ownership of the details that keep a bar running smoothly.

This is a hands-on leadership role . You’ll be working regular bartending shifts while also helping manage scheduling, liquor ordering, inventory, organization, and day-to-day bar operations.

What you’ll do:

• Work the bar and deliver warm, knowledgeable, efficient hospitality

• Lead by example during service

• Help set the tone and standards for the bar team

• Build and manage bartender schedules

• Handle liquor, beer, wine, and bar supply ordering

• Maintain inventory and keep pars organized

• Monitor product usage, waste, and overall bar organization

• Help train and develop bartenders

• Maintain consistency in cocktail execution, prep, cleanliness, and setup

• Communicate with management about staffing, inventory, and operational needs

• Jump in wherever needed — this is not a clipboard-only position

What we’re looking for:

• 3–5 years of bartending experience

• Strong craft cocktail and spirits knowledge

• A solid understanding of classic cocktails and proper technique

• Previous lead bartender or management experience is a plus

• Experience with ordering and inventory

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Someone who can lead a team without losing the hospitality side of the job

• Reliable, accountable, and calm under pressure

• Availability for nights, weekends, and busy services

The right person is someone who takes pride in the bar, notices the little things, supports the team, and understands how to balance great hospitality with strong operations.
