Strength and Conditioning Coach

Union County Public Schools has an opening for a Strength and Conditioning Coach - Female Athletes. The district has developed key areas upon which applicants will be assessed; these dispositions include the following indicators:

• Stability - demonstrates maturity and ability for the position
• Attitude toward work - appears to be dedicated to and enthusiastic, positive, and creative towards the demands of the position.
• Attitude toward schools - Displays a willingness to cooperate with parents and other shareholders
• Attitude toward community relations - Projects a positive attitude toward promoting the school programs within the community.
• Ability to relate to students - Has leadership ability to work successfully with participants.
• Student Management - Demonstrates effective discipline, motivation, and proper supervision.
• Attitude toward school activities - Demonstrates a willingness to support school activities in his/her work.
• Professionalism and personal relationships - Develops respect by example in appearance, manners, behavior, language, and conduct.
• Communication skills - Communicates effectively.

If not a certified employee, para-professionals (coaches) must pass the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment or provide proof of a minimum of 48 college hours. All applicants must present a letter from the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) stating that the applicant has no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect.
