As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Lobby Operations in Earth City, MO , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Monitor access to the technology, media, and telecommunications location by verifying identification, following visitor-management procedures, and directing guests to appropriate contacts.
• Carry out site-specific security-related procedures, including maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary credentials, and receiving deliveries in accordance with established guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and supporting emergency response activities when needed.
• Maintain awareness of front-desk activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, or security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
