This position reports to: Industries and Channel Marketing Manager Location: Hybrid out of the Cary, NC office or full‑remote within the United States. Contributes to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in the United States. Your role and responsibilities: As a Strategic Marketing Manager, Data Center, you will lead market‑driven growth initiatives for the U.S. data center market. This cross‑functional role works closely with commercial, product, marketing, and strategy teams. Develop U.S. data center segment strategies and translate business priorities into go‑to‑market plans and campaign objectives. Deliver data‑driven insights on customer needs, technology trends, regulatory factors, and competitor activity. Lead cross‑functional campaign planning and activation across digital, events, content, and partner channels. Elevate ABB’s presence in the data center ecosystem through industry participation and thought‑leadership initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of experience in electrification, power, digital infrastructure, or related industries, including marketing, product management, or sales; or Master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Experience in the data center or digital infrastructure market within the U.S. market. Proven expertise in marketing strategy, market intelligence, customer experience, and campaign development/execution. Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and influence without direct authority. High say/do ratio – sets clear commitments and delivers results consistently.
