Must-Have: Epic charting system experience is a hard requirement. Previous charge experience is preferred. Travel experience is required.

Description: This position involves performing MRI procedures. The tech will work from Monday to Friday with on-call responsibilities one night a week from 9 PM to 6 AM. The job does not require weekend shifts. The tech will utilize Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T and GE SIGNA HDI 1.5T machines. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily patient census averages around 160. The tech will work in a short-term acute care facility with a total of 209 staff beds. A focus on Patient Safety and preparation/administration of contrast media is essential. There is interdisciplinary support available, including respiratory services and social services. The tech will need to perform various MRI procedures, including abdominal, cardiac, and brain imaging. Isolation precautions and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are also required when necessary. Effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team are vital to ensure optimal patient care. The role may involve floating between nearby facilities as necessary. Failure to comply with required duties may result in the termination of the contract.
