Clinical Nurse - Cardiothoracic PCU

Role Overview Provides direct patient care as a Cardiothoracic PCU Registered Nurse , including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care , educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development. Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, addressing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and barriers to involvement. Works in a safety-sensitive environment requiring constant alertness. Qualifications & Skills Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's preferred. Licenses: Current RN license. Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher education candidates. Strong communication, assessment, and care planning skills. Key Duties Deliver comprehensive nursing care within standards. Educate patients and families on health management. Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and communicate care plans. Assess patient needs holistically, considering individual values and barriers.
