Oilfield Equipment Assembler

Pay: $18–$24/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Oilfield Equipment Assembler – Must-Have Requirements

Ability to follow detailed build instructions by part number and description
Basic mechanical aptitude and technical understanding
Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy
Must be able to follow torque specifications and assembly standards
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and tight spaces
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently

Oilfield Equipment Assembler – Position Summary

Assembles and fabricates mechanical components in a manufacturing environment focused on oilfield equipment subassembly. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow structured build processes. Work includes installing engine-related components, completing build documentation, and ensuring each step meets company standards for quality and safety.

Oilfield Equipment Assembler – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assemble engine components including alternators, intake manifolds, and starters
Install components using approved assembly practices
Follow torque specifications for all applicable fasteners
Mark each component as it is installed
Update build sheets throughout each stage of assembly
Work from instructions based on part numbers and descriptions
Maintain safe, efficient, and organized work practices
Follow all company safety procedures and training requirements
Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Oilfield Equipment Assembler – Additional Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 65 lbs occasionally (floor to shoulder)
Ability to occasionally move up to 100 lbs (push/pull/carry)
Frequent bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and overhead work required
Comfortable working in confined or narrow spaces
Repetitive hand tool use (wrenches, screwdrivers, hammering)
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Exposure to heat, cold, noise, fumes, and mechanical environments
Ability to work occasional overtime beyond scheduled shift hours
