Warehouse Specialist Department: Inventory Employment Type: Full Time Location: Santa Clara, CA Description We are a respected plumbing supply company serving the Santa Clara area, and we are hiring a Warehouse Specialist to help keep our supply house running and our deliveries on schedule. This is a hands‑on, in‑person role that blends warehouse work, shipping and receiving, local truck delivery, and eventually counter and customer service. It is a great fit for someone dependable who takes pride in a well‑run operation and wants to grow in the plumbing supply trade. Plumbing or supply house experience is a plus, but we will cross‑train the right person who brings a strong work ethic and good people skills. Key Responsibilities Receive, check in, and shelve incoming material; unload delivery trucks and stage product Pick, build, and load orders and truck kits for delivery to customer and VMI locations Make local deliveries in company box trucks (non‑CDL) as a backup driver when needed Operate a forklift to move pipe, water heaters, and palletized material safely Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and accurately stocked Cross‑train on the sales counter to help customers and answer product questions Coordinate with the team on deliveries, schedules, and inventory needs Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Warehouse, shipping and receiving, or supply house experience preferred; plumbing product knowledge (pipe, fittings, water heaters) a strong plus Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record (standard license is fine; no CDL required) Able to obtain a DOT medical certification to drive non‑CDL company trucks Forklift experience strongly preferred Comfortable interacting with customers; strong communication and a positive, helpful attitude Able to lift and move heavy material such as pipe and water heaters and stay active through the shift Able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen #J-18808-Ljbffr Hire Right Recruiting
