Warehouse Lead

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team and contribute to this mission. Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM The Warehouse Lead is responsible for the daily coordinator of safe, accurate, and timely movement of raw materials and finished goods. Supports execution of daily and weekly schedules and priorities. This role ensures production lines are staged on time to support operational efficiency, maintain inventory accuracy, and follows all safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. Acting as point of contact in manager absence. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinate and assign daily work activities to warehouse associates to ensure production schedules and shipping deadlines are met. Serve as the primary point of contact for operational questions and issue escalation during assigned shifts. Monitor workflow, staffing, and material availability, adjusting priorities as needed to support business demands. Verify accuracy of inventory transactions, staging, and documentation; investigate and elevate discrepancies. Support training, coaching, and mentoring of warehouse team members to reinforce safety, quality, and productivity expectations. Communicate shift handoffs, key issues, and status updates to supervisors and cross-functional partners. Model and enforce compliance with safety policies, GMPs, and standard operating procedures. Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment within warehouse and production areas. Select, prepare, and load products for outbound shipments based on customer and shipping specifications. Receive, unload, inspect, and properly store inbound raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials. Maintain accurate inventory using electronic inventory systems and follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) guidelines. Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and productivity. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices. Safety Protocol: Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. Correct or report any observed safety hazards. Support safety policies and programs. Education / Experience / Certifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain certification. Two plus years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Experience with electronic inventory systems (e.g., ERP/WMS such as Sage X3) preferred. Skills Required: Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
