For over 50 years, these partners have relied on Financial Pacific to provide them with innovative financing solutions for their customers**About the Role:**Responsible for evaluating equipment vendors and ensure that vendor profile is in line with requirements established under the vendor validation process. Provide assistance and support to credit team to ensure that timely, efficient, and courteous service is provided to all vendors, lessees and brokers of FinPac.* Make and communicate decisions and documentation requirements within assigned limits and consistent with FPC Vendor Validation process.* Make decisions on the quality, future value and eligibility of equipment proposed for lease.* Confirm the accurate entry of credit related data into the FPL credit platform.* Review and edit all applications to increase accuracy and efficiency, as needed.* Make recommendations to management for improvements in department policies, procedures, and reports* Attend meetings and participate in and complete all departmental and companywide training.* Update Do Not Fund and Watch lists on behalf of Credit* Support and promote the company mission, culture and activities and act as an advocate for the group to the company.* Maintain confidentiality of all company and applicant information.* Develop and maintain positive relationships with all Financial Pacific Leasing staff, associates, brokers, and vendors.* Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.* Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.* Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.* May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.* Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words.* Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.* Embraces our vision to become “Business Bank of Choice”* May perform other duties as assigned.**About You:*** High School degree. Required* Bachelor’s in finance, accounting or related field. Preferred* 3+ years Equipment finance experience in a small ticket lending environment. Required* Adaptable and resourceful, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to work with all levels of management and employees.* Demonstrated accountability and responsibility for independent judgment and successful outcomes.* Basic credit underwriting or credit quality skills an understanding of relationships between equipment suppliers and funding sources.* Must maintain confidentiality, discretion, and integrity.The pay range for this role is $29.80 - $40.00.The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
