RN - Float Pool Med/Surg Telemetry - Part Time - Encinitas - Nights

Position Overview Part‑time Registered Nurse – Float Pool Location: Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas, 354 SANTA FE DRIVE, ENCINITAS, 92024 Schedule: 48 hours every two weeks, 12‑Hour Night Shifts (1900‑0730) on varied days, including some holidays and weekends. About the Role As a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool, you will provide direct patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and lead patient care activities, ensuring high‑quality standards and positive patient experiences. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient progress toward expected outcomes. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care and support for patients and their families. Take primary responsibility for patient care, guiding the Care Team under your supervision to foster a team‑oriented approach. As part of our Site‑Based Float Pool (SBFP), you will have the opportunity to float among four major Med/Surg Telemetry units, gaining diverse experience while providing quality care. Qualifications Required One (1) year of RN experience. Current CA RN License. Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification through American Heart Association. Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing. Proficiency in speaking, reading, and following instructions in English. Excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrate positive behaviors. Preferred BSN. One year of acute Medical/Surgical RN experience. Telemetry or Progressive Care experience. Additional certifications: CMSRN, NIHHS Stroke Certification, ACLS. Experience with Epic EHR. Incentives Eligible for a New Hire Incentive of $2,000 for part‑time.
