Job Information

We are seeking a dynamic Operations Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our organization's day-to-day operations. The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of various processes within the organization, with a strong emphasis on providing exceptional customer service, follow-up, warehouse coordination, and comprehensive supply chain management. Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Coordination:
   • Coordinate and facilitate warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
   • Oversee the management of inventory, storage, and distribution within the warehouse
   • Collaborate with different teams to gather information, provide updates, and resolve warehouse-related issues
   • Implement and maintain safety protocols and best practices within the warehouse to ensure a secure working environment
2. Resource Management:
   • Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet operational needs
   • Monitor resource utilization and recommend adjustments as necessary
3. Customer Service and Follow-Up:
   • Assist sales personnel to ensure exceptional customer service 
   • Perform follow-up to ensure timely shipment of materials
   • Resolve customer service issues promptly and effectively
   • Track open sales orders and ensure their fulfillment
4. Freight Management:
   • Oversee the logistics of inbound and outbound freight shipments
   • Ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods, optimizing freight routes, carriers, and delivery schedules
   • Manage the filing and resolution of freight claims

Qualifications:

• 8 or more years of work experience leading/managing an operations organization and collaborating with other operations functions
• Epicor 21 (P21) skills highly desirable
• Proven experience in operations coordination or a similar role
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of freight logistics and experience in handling freight claims

• Occasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment)

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
