Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Allen, 1105 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, 75013 Work hours: PRN, 7:00pm 7:00am; 6 shifts per 6 week schedule required NICU Department highlights: Level II NICU/Level II Maternal Designation 8 LDRPs, 5 Antepartum Rooms, 2 Operating Rooms 40 45 deliveries per month Small team focused on BIG teamwork!

Here's What You Need Diploma in Nursing required or Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program BSN preferred RN Registered Nurse upon hire required One year of NICU experience strongly preferred BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days required and CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention maintained annually and required within 90 days and NRPA Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days required

What You Will Do Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
