Physical Therapist Outpatient Position – New Grads Welcome 

Align PT and Pilates – Fort Myers, Florida

About Align PT and Pilates 

We are a growing outpatient practice built around personalized care, movement, and long‐term patient relationships. Our model blends evidence‐based Physical Therapy, advanced manual techniques, therapeutic exercise, and Pilates‐based rehabilitation. 

This is not an assembly‐line clinic. You will have the autonomy to make clinical decisions based on what each patient truly needs. 

Compensation & Benefits 

• $80,000–$100,000 per year (experience‐based) 
• Up to $3,000 signing bonus

Treatment Approaches 

Depending on your interests and experience, treatment may include: 

• Manual therapy (Maitland, Mulligan, MET, PRT) 
• Neuromuscular techniques 
• Dry needling 
• Therapeutic exercise 
• Pilates‐based rehabilitation (training provided) 
• Reformer & mat‐based movement 
• Core stabilization 
• Infrared & laser therapy 
• MPS microcurrent 
• Vestibular & balance rehabilitation 
• Ergonomic assessment & injury‐prevention education 

Role Responsibilities 

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care 
• Provide focused, one‐on‐one outpatient Physical Therapy 
• Treat orthopedic, spine, post‐surgical, sports, balance, vestibular, and musculoskeletal conditions 
• Integrate Pilates‐based rehabilitation when appropriate 
• Progress patients toward long‐term wellness 
• Complete evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge documentation 
• Maintain Medicare documentation standards 
• Communicate professionally with physicians and healthcare partners 
• Collaborate with the clinic owner and clinical team 
• Contribute ideas as the practice grows 

Qualifications 

• DPT, MPT, or equivalent degree 
• Active Florida PT license (or ability to obtain one) 
• CPR certification 
• Ideally 1–3 years of outpatient experience 
• Strong orthopedic, spine, and manual therapy foundation 
• Understanding of Medicare documentation 
• Strong communication and patient‐education skills 
• Commitment to one‐on‐one care 
• Positive, collaborative, adaptable approach 

Strong new graduates with the right foundation and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. 

Preferred Experience (Not Required) 

• Pilates or Pilates‐based rehabilitation 
• Pelvic floor or women’s health 
• Dry needling 
• Manual therapy approaches (Maitland, Mulligan, MET) 
• Vestibular rehabilitation 
• Balance & fall prevention 
• Adult & geriatric rehabilitation 
• Experience with tennis, pickleball, golf, running, or recreational athletes 
• Ergonomic assessments 
• TheraOffice or similar EMR
